The Steps of Saint Paul

About This Project

One of the most important routes of religious interest in Greece is the "Steps of Apostle Paul". Paul, although not belonging to the inner circle of the 12 disciples of Christ, is an important figure for the Christian religion. He spread Christianity like no one else and for this reason he was named "isapostolos" (equal to the apostles) and "Apostle to the Gentiles".

As part of his travels to spread Christianity, Apostle Paul also visited Greece, preaching the Gospel and teaching the work of Jesus. The journey of Apostle Paul in Greece is a route that moves today not only the devout believer, but also anyone who loves history. The "Steps of Apostle Paul" pass through all the places where the Apostle taught and constitute an ideal combination of pilgrimage and touring in some of the most beautiful parts of Greece.
